If the microphone doesn’t work after granting permissions (see previous page), try these solutions for Android:
1. Google App
- If not installed:
- Go to Google Play, search for “Google,” and install the app.
- Open the app and grant microphone permissions.
- If installed:
- Open the Google app, click your avatar (top right), and select Settings > Voice.
- Under Language, select English (UK) or English (US).
- Go to Offline Speech Recognition and ensure the selected language is installed.
2. Accessibility Settings
- Go to Settings > Accessibility > Text-to-Speech Output.
- Set Google Voice Services as the preferred engine.
3. Samsung Devices
- Go to Settings > General Management > Text-to-Speech Output.
- Set Google Voice Services as the preferred engine.
